TEAS Math: It’s all about the "Neighbor" rule! 🏘️🔍 Rounding to the hundredths place? Don't look at the hundredth, look at its neighbor to the right (the thousandths place)! The Math: 1️⃣ Identify the hundredth: 3 2️⃣ Check the neighbor: 9 3️⃣ The Rule: 5 or above? Give it a shove! 🆙 Since 9 is greater than 5, that 3 becomes a 4. The correct answer is C! To round to the nearest hundredth, you look at the thousandths digit, which is a 9. Because 9 is 5 or greater, you round the hundredths digit up from 3 to 4 to get 853.14. ✅ Drop a 🧮 if you find the math section of the TEAS the most stressful!

Join my next live for more TEAS 7 practice questions! Do you remember the characteristics of a red blood cell? The correct answer is C! A mature red blood cell lacks a nucleus and mitochondria, which allows for a biconcave shape that is highly flexible. Join my next live! ⬆️⬆️ For the English section of the TEAS 7 exam, be sure to review subject-verb agreement. These can be tricky! The correct answer is D! Replying to TEAS Science Review: Catalysts and Enzymes. For your 📝: A catalyst increases the rate of a chemical reaction. It often does this by decreasing the amount of activation energy needed to start a reaction. A catalyst comes in and decreases the amount of activation energy. An enzyme is just a type of biological catalyst. Remember that enzymes are a type of protein! A catalyst does not change during a reaction and can be used over and over.

❓what’s the answer? For your 📝 DNA is transcribed into messenger RNA (mRNA). The process of transcription is making a complementary strand of mRNA from the DNA. The complement to C is G and vice versa. The complement of T in DNA is A in mRNA. The complement of A in DNA is U in mRNA. The mRNA is translated in a ribosome as the ribosome reads each triplet codon. A tRNA carrying an amino acid will match its anti-codon to the mRNA sequence with complementary nucleotides. A↔️U and C↔️G.
