Spring is in the air and we are booking up fast! Before and after of a small job we did yesterday.

😴 We are mid Winter and that means your lawn is probably looking a little …. Pale, yellow or simply put-not the best. Don’t worry! It’s 𝒏𝒐𝒕 dead, it’s just dormant until soil temperatures warm up again!
💚 There are a few things you 𝒄𝒂𝒏 do, however, to ensure it comes back healthy in a couple of months because even in the colder months, your lawn still needs a little 𝑻 𝑳 𝑪:
🌱 Remove leaves, branches, and debris to prevent suffocation and disease.
🌱Avoid walking on frosty or dormant grass to minimize damage.
🌱 Use safe, lawn-friendly ice melt products on pathways to prevent harm to your grass.
🌱 If we have a dry 10-14 days, occasional watering (.5” a week) can keep roots hydrated.
🚫 𝑫𝒐 𝑵𝒐𝒕 aerate, seed or apply any fertilizers or chemicals to your lawn when dormant as it will cause nutrient runoff and waste since inactive roots can’t absorb it (however, laying Bermuda during winter is perfectly fine!
