Should the algorithm be blamed here?

It is a fair question. And yes, platforms do change things. But sometimes the algorithm is not the real issue. It is simply exposing problems that were already there.

The ad promises one thing, but the landing page says something else. On mobile, the page loads slowly. And even after opening the site, a visitor still cannot quickly understand what the business offers.

So people click and leave.

Before thinking of the algorithm, ask yourself: “If people are finding my business online, what are they seeing after the click?”

Good marketing is more than luck. It’s about getting the details right.
