One of my favorite Home for the Holidays moments is @adamstubermusic making his homemade eggnog! The kitchen smells like nutmeg, there’s usually Christmas music playing, and he takes this recipe very seriously 🤪🤍 It’s one of those little traditions that makes the whole house feel cozy and festive all at once. - If you want to make it too (or just watch someone else do the work), here’s how he does it: Ingredients: • 6 egg yolks • 1 cup sugar • 1/4 cup brown sugar • 2 cups milk • 1 cup heavy cream • 1/2 tsp vanilla • 1 tsp nutmeg • Splash of maple syrup • Pinch of salt How he makes it: Beat the egg yolks, sugar, and brown sugar together for like 100 years…. Then slowly add the milk, heavy cream, vanilla, nutmeg, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt.
