It’s not all spotlights and solos — before the first chord rings out and after the last encore fades, there's a whole lot of heavy lifting.
From loading in amps, running cables, setting up drums, checking sound, to tearing it all down and packing up in the dark… every show is built on sweat, teamwork, and a few tangled cords. 😅
Massive shoutout to our crew (and each other!) for making it all happen night after night. Y’all only see the stage — but it takes a whole lot of hustle to make the music happen. 🙌
See you at the next one. We’ll be the ones unloading the van. 🎶🚐💪

We got new neighbors… after introducing ourselves we promptly warned them “we’re in a band, sorry if our tunes blow your eardrums. Just yell, turn it down”.
🎶 Nothing beats the magic of a live band and a slow dance 💃🕺
There’s something special about seeing couples take the floor, holding each other close while we play the classics that bring back memories—and maybe even create new ones. ❤️

A few members of The Pocket had an enjoyably weekend in Pentwater Mi. Octoberfest was shifted into high gear with a car show in town, delicious food and many different beers on tap at The Village Cafe and Pub. They also had two different bands throughout the day and of course it wouldn’t be Octoberfest without some energizing polka music. If you find yourself on the west side of the state, you have to check out Pentwater.
A few members of The Pocket had an great time at Horrocks Farm Market, getting their groove on to the sounds of Deer & Elk. You're totally missing out if you don't hit up Horrocks Farm Market's beer garden and check out the amazing tunes they've got lined up. If Deer and Elk haven't blown your mind yet, you owe it to yourself to see them live.

We had an absolute blast playing at Darrells Market and Hardware’s 80th Anniversary Celebration this past weekend! Big thanks to everyone who came out — the energy, the dancing, and the love for live music were unforgettable. ❤️
It’s not every day you get to celebrate 80 years of a community staple like Darrel’s. From hardware to hometown hospitality, they’ve been doing it right for generations — and we were honored to be part of such a special milestone.
