In March of 2010, neighbors surrounding Cavanaugh Park came together to make a difference in their community, focusing their efforts on cleaning up Cavanaugh Park! Today, the Cavanaugh Park Neighborhood Association has established 4 neighborhood watches and a community garden, and continues to clean up Cavanaugh Park while building relationships with schools and community businesses.
Don't forget our meeting tonight at the Cavanaugh Elementary School library from 6:30p-8p! Lots of information! Hope to see you all there!!!!!
Thank you to the volunteers who came out this morning to work in the park! We appreciate all of the help! If you missed us today, there will be many other opportunities this summer! Pictures of today's clean up will be posted soon! If you want to check out part of what was done today, drive down Cavanaugh Street and check out the park sign! New flowers planted and mulch laid! :)
