Happy Birthday Michigan!
35 years ago we produced this poster for the State's 150th Birthday.
We were provided with the original drawings of the building made by Elijah Meyer, the architect. That was a bit intimidating.
The limited-edition, screen-printed posters were sold to raise funds for the restoration of the Capitol Building.
No computers were used in the process, just old-fashioned photography, and steady hands cutting masking films.
