Our Science Olympiad Team competed in our regional invitational and placed in several events. Congratulations to our 1st place partners in Entomology (Ava & Chris) and Rocks and Minerals (Chris and Alex S.). They earned Gold Bids, which earn them the opportunity to compete at the State Science Olympiad Invitational next month. Congratulations also for the team placing 3rd in Bungee Drop (Matthew & Lucas), 4th in Engineering CAD (Matthew & Lucas), 5th in Machines (Lucas and Alex J.), 5th in Disease Detectives (Chris and Alex S), and 6th in Water Quality (Lucas & Ava).

I’m glad it worked out for this college student’s continued education in another state.

College Tells Student to Leave—Because She Was Homeschooled Midway into the semester, college officials locked a homeschool graduate out of classes after changing their minds about her qualifications.

Our homeschool Science Olympiad team competed in the 2026 Frankenmuth Invitational. We have improved at each competition and today placed in 4 events. Congratulations 🎉
