What is 160th (SOAR)?
They are the aviation regiment assigned to fly and support operations for US SOCOM, which includes Special Forces, Delta, and Rangers.

How can can you sign up?
Talk to an Army Recruiter, like myself, and look for OPT 1 when selecting your MOS. Required score on the ASVAB, 50+ and qualify for Airborne school.

When would I go to SOAR selection?
Following basic training and advanced individual training and airborne, you will be assigned to Ft Campbell KY and begin the selection process.
