Precision Templates is proud to announce our partnership with Banshee Jet Boats supplier of AquaTraction marine flooring on their new custom builds. We’re excited to work with a company that’s doing things the right way from the start.

AquaTraction is an ideal fit for how these boats will be used—shallow-water, river, and fishing applications where durability matters. With the marine flooring market now flooded with options, it’s important to understand the differences between materials.

There are two primary foam decking types:
• AquaTraction – PE-based
• SeaDek – EVA-based

PE-based flooring is denser, more durable, runs cooler, and produces cleaner, more precise routing. EVA-based flooring is softer, shows wear faster, and doesn’t hold up as well in high-traffic fishing environments.

Choosing the wrong material is like using low quality paint—it may look ok at first, but it won’t last. Don’t take our word for it—ask ChatGPT the difference between AquaTraction and SeaDek, and which is better for a fishing boat.
