Earlier this month along with CLC Board Secretary, Sandi Cianciulli, we welcomed, Lori Waselchuk to our 2nd Friday program. Sandi, along with our board president, MaryAnn Robins, are working with Waselchuk on a documentary about Indigenous Voices.

As always, our potluck was festive, fun (and delicious!) -and after sharing a meal, we were able to dive into various bodies of work that Waselchuk created over the last twenty+ years. One of the most potent aspects of Waselchuk's art is how she compassionately gives voice and presence to many people who would otherwise go unheard and unseen. We give a big THANK YOU to Waselchuk for documenting the valuable stories and lives of many people, and we look forward to witnessing how she will share the lives and stories of indigenous women in this next piece with Sandi and Mary Ann!
