A Gift That Will Change Lives
Today was more than receiving a vehicle, it was witnessing the heart of generosity in action.
A special thank you to Ms. Diane Larson for donating this 2012 Chrysler Town & Country van to support the mission of the Tennessee Council for Recovery and Soul Savages.
What may look like a van to most people represents so much more to us. It represents rides to treatment. It represents transportation to court, doctor’s appointments, recovery meetings, job interviews, and safe housing. It represents hope for individuals and families who simply need someone willing to help them take the next step forward.
Every day we meet people who are fighting for their lives, their recovery, and their future. Transportation is often one of the biggest barriers they face. Because of Diane’s generosity, we now have another tool to help remove that barrier and connect people to the resources they need.
Ms. Diane, thank you for believing in this mission. Thank you for choosing to invest in people you may never meet. Your gift will have an impact far beyond this moment, and countless lives will be touched because of your kindness.
Please join me in thanking Diane Larson for her servant’s heart and incredible generosity.

Leadership is not about being the loudest voice in the room.
It’s about seeing the bigger picture, opening doors for others, making strategic connections, and helping your team get to the right tables where meaningful conversations can happen.
One of the things I appreciated most during our time in Washington, D.C. was watching Jeff Breedlove in action. While many people see the public side of leadership, few see the countless hours spent building relationships, creating opportunities, coordinating moving parts, and ensuring that others have a seat at the table.
Great leaders don’t just lead from the front, they position others for success.
This photo captures a moment that speaks volumes. Not because someone is pointing, but because it represents vision, direction, purpose, and the ability to help people navigate rooms that can often feel overwhelming.
Thank you, Jeff Breedlove, for your leadership, your commitment to recovery advocacy, and your willingness to invest in people and organizations across the country. Because of leaders who are willing to build bridges instead of walls, important conversations are happening, partnerships are being formed, and lives will ultimately be impacted.
True leadership isn’t measured by how many people follow you.
It’s measured by how many people you empower to lead.
Honored to have shared this experience and grateful for your guidance along the way.
