Whaleopedia
Whaleopedia is a non-profit project conceived and designed by Animal Fund as an educational tool for those who want to learn about the natural history of whales, dolphins and porpoises, known as cetaceans. Awed by their size, intelligence, and social nature, and dismayed at the prospect of ever understanding their way of life in a formidable habitat, we nonetheless are fascinated by the cetaceans: whales, dolphins and porpoises — air-breathing mammals with which we feel such an unlikely kinship.
