The whales are definitely here on Maui. I was walking on the beach in Kihei today and saw a mom and calf not that far off shore. Fortunately, my camera was handy and was able to get some video.

Our latest release, "Gateway to the Sea," captures a moment at H‘poko Point that felt almost otherworldly. If you look closely at the first slide, you can see the drama of the rainbow continuing right down into the crashing waves.

In a world full of AI-generated images, we want to remind you: This is real. This is raw Maui nature, captured through our lens, with zero artificial creation.

We want you to enjoy this view in your own space, on your own terms.

Teaching the next generation to respect our wildlife starts now! 🌺 As our little one is showing us, it really is this simple: let them rest. Hawaiian Monk Seals don’t come up onto the sand just to sunbathe; they haul out because they are exhausted after hunting in the ocean and need critical sleep to survive. When we get too close, we force them back into the water before they've recovered their energy. Please give these endangered beauties plenty of space—stay at least 50 feet away and just walk around them. Let’s share the shore so they can thrive.
