One of my absolute favorite ways to unwind and recharge is by diving into a good book.

Whether it’s getting lost in an exciting audiobook with a fantastic narrator or cozying up with a printed novel, there’s something magical about escaping into different worlds and stories.

And when it comes to relaxation, nothing beats spending time near water. I grew up on the water so whether I’m listening to the soothing sounds of waves crashing on the shore, enjoying the peacefulness of a serene lake, or simply chilling by a babbling brook in a lush forest, water landscapes have a way of calming my soul and lifting my spirits.

So, combining a captivating read with the calming vibes of a water view?

I recently started meal prepping multiple meals for the week on one day.

I have really enjoyed this process because while I do like cooking, I don’t always like doing the prep or the clean up every single day.

Here are five meals I made this week
1. Mississippi pot roast
2. Taco chicken and broccoli
3. Bacon Cheeseburger meatballs
4. Chicken taquitos
5. Pizza lasagna

I can’t take credit for the recipes, but planning and preparing my meals ahead of time has us eating more variety, and the cleanup on cook day is pretty easy.

I signed up for the meal plan on fivedinnersonehour.com and my family has really enjoyed most of them so far.
