KCAL Automotive Technology

3 teams of KCAL Auto Tech students competed in the Universal Technical Institute Top Tech Challenge today! Congrats to our teams placing 9th and 3rd place! Tuition grants and tools were included in winning prizes! Well done team!

Mr. Rosario guides KCAL Automotive Technology students through a real customer vehicle repair; teaching repair estimates, charging system diagnostics, and proper repair procedures. This hands-on experience helps students apply classroom knowledge to real-world automotive service, preparing them for the industry!

🌟Automotive Technology wanted to shine a spotlight on Abigail Jenkins this month for the incredible work she has been doing, both in and out of class! Way to go, Abigail!

This achievement is not something any of us could accomplish on our own! 1st out of 38 other North Texas teams! Students had outstanding mentorship from Charley and Joby with Moritz Kia. Instructors that guided the student’s learning throughout their high school careers (Stanley, Comey, Rosario, and Serna). Support and involvement from KCAL and CTE staff. The effort to organize and schedule this event from the people at NTAD makes this all possible for the benefit of students.
