kers volunteering their time to help coach the program. KC DEVO will be running one summer-long, 8 week session from June 8 - July 27 for all age groups (U10, U14, and U19). Groups will ride at Swope Park, with practices each Monday from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. Family rides will be organized each Friday night to give the parents and friends of riders a chance to enjoy a ride with students and maybe pick up on some skills of their own! Family rides will also be done in various other parks depending on the week and weather. Opportunities to learn about bike maintenance, trail maintenance and other topics will be available if there is inclimate weather. We’ll also be hosting a few Urban Trail Co. work days to give the students a chance to earn their dirt and learn trail stewardship. Parents, please note: Monday night practices are for our registered riders only. All are welcome to ride on Friday nights, though - we know that your kids will be anxious to show off the skills they have mastered! Registration will only be open to 20-25 kids, so register now!
