I cannot wait to welcome my families back and to meet the beautiful new additions joining The Candor family this season.

Heirloom portraits are never simply a photoshoot — they are a way of preserving a moment in time, forever. In this season especially, I feel an even deeper passion for capturing legacy: the quiet connections, the growth, the chapters that deserve to be remembered long after they’ve passed.

I look forward to helping transform a fleeting moment into a photograph, a photograph into an album, and an album into something that lives within your home and your story. Because images resting on a phone were never meant to be the final destination — they were meant to be held, displayed, and passed down.

There’s a kind of magic in the bond between a child and their favorite animal—the trust, the wonder, the quiet joy that words can’t quite capture. During one of our Legacy Sessions, I photographed a little girl with her riding buddy, and it struck me how fleeting these moments are. Childhood has a way of galloping by, and one day the days of braids, boots, and horseback rides will be just a memory.

That’s why sessions like these mean so much. They preserve the love, the laughter, and the little details you’ll never get back once time moves on. Legacy portraits aren’t just photographs—they’re heirlooms of a chapter that deserves to be remembered forever.

Spending time with family and friends this last week has been so so filling. To see friends build their legacies and new families being formed is so so special.

These two however got married on our last trip and I haven’t shared the beauty of these moments so I’ll just leave them here for your enjoyment. :)
