These films are part of a silent storytelling collection where the wind, the footsteps, the pauses, and the emotions do all the talking.
No dialogue.
No narration.
Just humanity.

I am beyond excited to finally share this—
“I’m So Jackson” is officially in production as a short animated film, and it will be releasing Spring 2026! 🌷🎞️

Many of you know that I’m So Jackson started as a children’s book I wrote to shine a light on the real beauty of Jackson, Mississippi—my hometown. The book was all about teaching our youth that even when negativity gets loud in the media, it doesn’t erase the GOOD that lives in our city: the history, the pride, the people, the culture, and the spirit that makes Jackson special.

Now, that message is coming to life in a full animated motion picture 🎥 — created for Jackson, by Jackson, and my way of giving something back to the city that raised me.

👨‍👩‍👦 In the story, a father brings his son back home to Jackson and teaches him that even when one bad thing happens, it doesn’t ruin all the good. That one spoiled egg doesn’t ruin the bunch. Throughout the film, we highlight landmarks, local legends, Jackson businesses, culture, and the heart of our city.

💙 This film is for our youth, our classrooms, our families, our churches — for every resident of Jackson, Mississippi, of ALL ages who still believes in hope, pride, and community.

🎨 Production is currently underway and will wrap toward the end of this year.
📆 The official release is set for Spring 2026.
