Take Note is a grassroots movement of volunteers supporting the right for all workers to be protected from secondhand smoke exposure. Establishments like nightclubs, bars, and entertainment venues are generally not protected by smoke-free ordinances. Secondhand smoke poses a very serious and scientifically proven health risk to everyone.

Has anyone seen this new TV spot running in the state? It is so easy to understand the proven health hazards of things when they are made simple and clear. When politics are involved issues get clouded, twisted and complicated.
Revised Indiana smoking ban bill would exempt casinos. The biggest change Friday was the temporary exemption for bars and taverns. “This is all about the art of compromise. When you think about it realistically, bars are not going to be able to do this overnight,” said Rep. Charlie Brown, D-Gary.
