We are allMeadow (Bassist and Composer/Producer—Wales, United Kingdom) and Rob Costlow (Pianist/Keyboardist and Composer—Illinois, USA). Our international collaboration and friendship span fifteen years and we have never met in person. Oceans cannot separate something as universal as music. We come from unique backgrounds, yet our musical pursuits gel and keep us together in mind and spirit.

The global pandemic helped fuel Art of Nations. The tragedy, change, and stories we have seen around the globe coupled with the silver lining of more time at home stirred up a lot of thought and new emotions that we express through our bass, piano, and instrumentation. Years old to days old, we filled this album with lively and chill melodies and riffs that have finally come to maturity after countless Twitter messages, emails, recording and mixing sessions, Dropbox transfers, and of course, video conferences. And, we cannot forget our buddy Dusk Bennett in Southern California—thank you for your masterful post-production skills!

We are so proud of this work and hope you enjoy it as much as we did in creating it. We unequivocally love art and expression and believe our world is lost without it. Please join us in celebrating the art that binds all nations.
