The Ripple Effect Orlando

General Summary:

We go out to a section of Broad Ripple in Indianapolis, right off the monon trail sitting behind a card table with a large sign that reads "Free Spiritual Readings". we then let people bike, skate, walk and run up to us asking what we are doing and if they could participate. before we start often times i will take two minutes to explain that we are not psychics or mind readers,

but rather just normal christians that are listening to Jesus. we handle each situation differently as the spirit leads. some people i will wait until after we had given them the word before telling them we are christians who are getting this info from Jesus. other times, i will make it very clear from the beginning. in every case, we see accurate direct words that the people verify as true. God shows up time after time, person after person. and in almost every case, the people are very receptive to everything we have to say. there is also no shortage in demand. we get there by around 7 and minister sometimes straight until 10 (although we like to wrap up at around 9). The main purpose of this form of outreach is to display the power of God. too many people have heard the "story" of Jesus dying for their sins. what they haven't heard of or seen is the raw power of God. this is what we show them. you can argue with a "story" all day long, but when these people see the power right there in front of them, they can argue no longer. we are not trying to argue, debate, or convince them that what we say is true. we are simply acting as available vessels for God to use to display Himself. God is doing the bulk of the work here; our only job is to show up with the faith needed to say what we here and describe what we see. there is no agenda and no pressure to try and "convert" people or to pray a prayer of salvation with people. however, if the conversation is heading that way and we feel the spirit is leading us that way, we will talk very directly about Jesus and what it takes to be saved. most times i would talk about my own testimony of how i had been changed and this works very well. People are free to participate in one of three ways:

1. Giving the words of knowledge alongside us. (this is best suited for people who have training or experience in the prophetic and feel they could minister in a “non-religious” manner to pre-believers)
2. Providing a prayer covering. (although ministry is usually pretty easy and painless, we are in the middle of a “hot spot” of spiritual activity filled with everything from new age to hyper religious beliefs. Those interested in prayer could simply come along and stand near us or even walk the monon while praying)
3. Shadowing us. (for those who would just like to see how this type of ministry is done and learn from what we do. you can sit next to us or stand behind us and simply watch)

We're doing a Ripple Effect Outreach this Thursday March 13th at 6:30pm in the Orlando area! We're setting up an area for "Free Spiritual Readings" and "Free Healing"! It's going to be crazy fun! There's nothing more exciting than living on the edge of safety and believing God to show up out in the market place! No level of experience is required...Just come ready to have fun and introduce people to the most love filled powerful person they've ever met! Jesus loves to introduce Himself in extravagant ways! We're going to meet in the back parking lot of the AMC Theater right by Cranes Roost in Uptown Altamonte.

Tonight was the first night we did the Ripple Effect in Florida...and we have BREAKING NEWS!...Jesus still loves people extravagantly all the way down in sunny Florida. We went out to a park with a huge jogging track around a lake. Beautiful and busy spot to set up our "Free Spiritual Readings" sign and table. We had two girls sit down and they said they had done spiritual readings before. (One girl was Indian and her friend was Chinese.) We said ours would be a bit different and started asking Jesus for words of knowledge about these ladies' lives. For the girl on our left (we'll call her Ashley) we got several words of knowledge exactly right including: She is very analytic, likes to lead the way, gifted in business, and even that as a child she was often looked down upon and even "written off" from being a success by her family. She confirmed everything as true and we went on. We could tell we had the girls' attention so we started in on her friend (we'll call her Brittany). Right away one of our team got that she would be successful in and play a role in the fashion industry. (Talk about specific!) She started to laugh and exclaimed, "How did you know that?!?" As I started to tell her, she interrupted and said, "Seriously how did you just do that?!?" She then went on to tell us that it was always her dream to open her own fashion design company! We knew the Lord had set these two up for an encounter with Him so we told them the truth: That Jesus was the one who was telling us these details about their lives. Brittany said "I'm a Christian too" and was thrilled at what just took place. Her Indian friend, Ashely, told us she was raised Hindu, but didn't care for the way Christians preach at people. We told her about the love of Jesus and how he wanted nothing more than to be in an intimate relationship with her and that's why He encountered her tonight. I told her that He was going to begin revealing Himself even more to her after tonight. Her Christian friend was smiling from ear to ear. She received everything wonderfully and as she stood up to leave she yelled, "I really love this positive encouraging God!" And that was the quote of the night.
