Have you been to the Giving Machine at yet? If not, you should go asap! It was such a beautiful family experience that helped our kids think outside of themselves and their own Christmas list.

To help our kids feel more connected to the gifts, we told each of them that they could give anything they wanted from the Giving Machine, and they would cover 10% of the cost while we covered the rest. Each of them, except the exceptionally hangry Isabelle, put a lot of thought into what kind of gift they wanted to give and talked about it for hours after.
