I was able to pick up my first win at Salem Speedway this weekend in the 25 lap Powderpuff race! It was a great weekend and a good way to end the racing season. Thanks to Doug Barnes at Highway Muffler Sale and Services, we are almost ready to be at the race track. If you are needing any exhaust work done make sure to contact them for good quality work!!

I was able to bring home the big trophy from one of my favorite races of the season, the Kaitlyn Adams Memorial race!

This race was canceled due to bad weather a few weeks ago but luckily they were able to reschedule it. I drew a 7, which put me on the pole and I led all 26 laps of the race! Harold Adam is an asset to the track and someone who always has a positive attitude. I am glad we were able to run this race to remember his daughter. Thank you, Harold for everything you do!!

I also decided to run the Funfest 50, which I qualified 8th out of 37! They then made top 24 pull draw and I drew a 5. We started 3 wide and I was able to hold a good position in 5th. Unfortunately, there was a wreck and I got caught up in it and broke a tire rod. Overall it was a great learning experience and weekend!
