Any other recovering perfectionist in the house?! This quote hit me HARD when I spotted it.
You may have noticed I haven’t been posting or sharing as much about my transition into my studio...Yet. Wanna know why? Because it’s been messy and behind every perfectionist behavior there is fear.
When we scroll through social media rarely do we see the struggle on full display. I knew stepping out on my own would be scary, but it is a completely different feeling when you’re in the thick of it.
I want my following to see this process authentically, not just the smiles and filters. I know I can do hard things, and I’m lucky to have the growing pains as lessons. I am also very grateful to have all the tools and support one could need. My new space will not be perfect, I will not be perfect, but it will have every ounce of my efforts I can healthily give, and that will be good enough.

I don’t say this enough...

I’m just really freakin lucky to have so many humans who trust me to create the hair they get to live in everyday.
