This sweet Pekin duck was recently surrendered to CWR with a broken bill and what appears to be burns or injury inside her mouth.
We donโt know her full story or what she endured before arriving at our door. But we do know one thingโsheโs finally in a safe place.
Our rehabilitation team is providing the care, support, and TLC she needs while we monitor her injuries and help her begin to heal.
Every animal who comes through our doors has a story. Some are filled with hardship, but they donโt have to define the rest of their lives.
Here, she gets a second chance. Here, she gets to be cared for.
