Stinkfest at The Wild Ramp did not disappoint. A full week of ramp prep, a menu we’re proud of, and now we’re all officially smelling like ramps for the foreseeable future. Worth it. See you next spring 🌱

👩🍳 Meet the Chef: Chef Jaleeia!
Chef Jaleeia is one of those people who makes everything around her run smoother. She’s a quiet force in the kitchen — calm, steady, and strong — with a wit that’ll catch you off guard in the best way.
She’s our mise en place queen, the kind of chef who finds peace in precision and somehow keeps everything (and everyone) on track.
And when it comes to flavor? Jaleeia doesn’t hold back. She’s unapologetic with her seasoning, and you can taste that confidence in every dish she makes.
She also has this beautiful way of taking care of her team — she loves cooking family meal, and trust me, you’ve gotta try her pickles. 🥒
Kitchen life is just easier (and a whole lot tastier) with her in it. 💚

🎉 One Year Ago Today…
One year ago today, our chefs were catching their breath after pulling off one of our biggest events yet — a 500-seat catering celebrating local food and community connection. 🧡
It was a night to remember:
✨ Nearly 500 guests enjoyed an elevated version of the same kind of meals the Healthy Kids Inc team make for kids every day — all made from scratch and featuring fresh, local ingredients.
The Menu:
• Curried Butternut Squash Soup
• Meatballs with Homemade Marinara
• Patatas Bravas with Roasted Tomato Aioli
And for a take-home treat:
• Sweet Potato Snickerdoodle Cookies
• Maple-Drizzled (Bean) Brownies 😉
We’re still so proud of what our team accomplished that day — the creativity, teamwork, and heart that went into every single bite.

If you’ve spent any time around our kitchen, you already know Chef Christy — she’s the friendly face always finding new ways for us to connect with our community and the first to lift team spirits with a mid-day Austin’s Ice Cream run. 🍦
A proud Mountwest graduate, Christy brings both skill and heart to our team. She’s our resident cracker-making expert (seriously, the crunch is unmatched) and makes a mean pierogi that could win over anyone’s heart.
Christy seems to know everyone in the community — and her connections help us strengthen partnerships and expand our impact every single day.
Always ready with a smile and a “how can I help?” attitude, Christy embodies the teamwork, kindness, and community spirit that make our kitchen so special. 💚
