Arthur Masonry

Just a reminder that rock salts damage concrete and masonry surfaces. Here are a few suggestions..
1. Repair any cracks or broken areas prior to winter.
2. Seal flat areas with a masonry sealer to act as a barrier between masonry and moisture, salts, etc.
3. Use masonry friendly salts or alternatives like sand or kitty litter.
4. If you feel salts are necessary be sure to wash down the area after temperatures return to above freezing.
