Throwback Thursday: We wanted to share this video footage taken in 2008 at the Doheny Blues Festival. Four musicians took the stage with vocalist Elnora — and judging by this video, apparently they were all about 17 years old 😆.
Fast forward to today, and three of those “youth prodigies” have somehow aged into even better musicians and formed the band, Final Stretch: Bob Hatcher on bass, Chris O’Connell on lead guitar, and Mike Breitenstein holding it down on harmonica and keys.
Individually, these guys are the kind of players who make other musicians stop and take notes. Together, as Final Stretch, they’re something even more powerful—a band that proves time doesn’t wear talent down… it sharpens it. Same passion, deeper groove, and a whole lot more soul.

Digging through boxes of old CDs, we stumbled upon a fascinating find! Can you believe three out of four musicians who rocked the stage with Elnora at The Doheny Blues Festival in 2008 have now joined forces with Final Stretch?
