Ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with insurance verification of benefits, obtaining referrals and authorizations through payors, as well as excellent typing and 10-key skills.
Experience with insurance verification work is preferred, but we will train the right person that has excellent math, communication and typing skills (such as a medical receptionist that has been exposed to the insurance verification process).

This position requires heavy phone usage and the ability to sit for extended periods of time.

Position is a full-time position.

We are a growing Medical Billing Company seeking a full-time Medical Billing Account Representative to join our team. We are seeking experienced candidates that possess detailed knowledge of the medical billing/revenue cycle management process. Candidates should possess the ability to read and interpret EOBs, understand the medical revenue cycle process, and achieve resolution for outstanding patient and insurance balances.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Working aging reports
Sending claims electronically or via paper Processing rejections from the clearinghouse and payor
Calling insurance companies to resolve payment discrepancies and rejections Processing and resolving "no pay" EOBs Working with patients to resolve account balances
