I have recently been in the job search for the Summer and had some luck with a local daycare.

I went in to start work on the 5th of May and nobody knew who I was. They just hired a new director and fired the one who initially hired me.

Several things:
I had done a background check for them.
I had fingerprinting done for them ($40 out of pocket)
I had called several times to confirm my starting date.

They eventually sent me home, which was understandable if they did not know that I was hired or was going to be hired. They also let me know that they would contact me soon regarding my employment.

I called every day for a week straight only to get the standard "We will take your information and call back"
Last night I left a 1 star review on the place stating:
"I am ONLY leaving this review because I have no answers every time I call. Please contact me and I will remove my review."

I called at around 3PM today and finally got a response from one of the owners regarding no employment and also the reimbursement of the $40 that I had spent to get fingerprinted for this job. I promptly removed my 1 star review and told them to have a wonderful rest of their day.

Around 30 minutes later I am routinely checking my emails and see 2 new 1 star google reviews on my business (Compass Gallery) to which I am confused about. I haven't had any clients that aren't close to me so far.

A quick google search has confirmed that the false 1 star reviews belong to none other than the owners of the daycare! How unprofessional! This reflects negatively on the franchise and the business itself as well as the owners. I can't believe anyone would do this to a business.

I'd like to take a moment and thank .athletics for their recent follows!

For a small business, every follow counts and adds towards the algorithm at which I am at mercy to.
