[Proud Parent Alert] Last night gave a TEDx talk at the youth event in Asheville. Her topic was how musical theater helps us be present in time. Eric & I are so proud of her hard work & dedication. She’s a natural performer and her humor & intellect & grace & charm shone through. Not only did she deliver an excellent speech, she sang & played guitar twice during it (and led the audience in a sing-along ). She’s only been playing for two months & is self taught. Just wow! I continue to be awed and inspired by my kiddo. Can’t wait to share the video with you once it’s released. Thanks & kudos to the students and staff at FSI who worked so hard to pull off such an outstanding event for our youth!
