Our school is collecting donations for Pennies for Patients for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). This is very dear to my heart... Over 10 years ago, my mom was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of leukemia. At that time, her doctors said most people do not live over 4 years. She has beat the odds!!! Through the power of prayer and advances in medicine & medical technology, my mom has been in remission for years. Her medicine that helps her costs over $2,000/month.
