Sweetest Taboo

I’ve spent a long time trying to figure out how to explain what Sweetest Taboo really is without turning it into some fake inspirational story or industry personality. Truthfully, this project was built through years of isolation, addiction, disappearing from people, rebuilding myself, and learning how to survive mentally before I ever learned how to survive creatively. Before the releases, visuals, and performances, there were years of drug addiction, paranoia, alienation, damaged relationships, unfinished songs, and a lot of nights where the only thing keeping me moving forward was my dog Stewie and the belief that I was meant for more than the way I was living. I don’t make music to look cool, fit in, collect fake friends, or pretend life has been easy. I make it because creating something real saved my life when I had almost nothing left of myself. Everything around Sweetest Taboo is built on discipline, obsession, self respect, and emotional honesty. No fake energy. No pretending to be perfect. No people pleasing. Just relentless work and the refusal to let my past decide my future. Music does not belong to people with money, status, connections, or approval. It belongs to whoever is willing to sacrifice for it completely. This project is for the people who rebuilt themselves in silence.
