The aggression to which these tarpon eat a fly in Ascension Bay is just ridiculous. You can hear and my amazement as the first fish of the string swings and miss and the 2nd one right over its shoulder and just rod length or two from the boat goes in for the kill. Unbelievable! The difference between this tarpon fishery and the keys…A fraction of the fish in Mexico, but ones you get shots at…so so hungry. It’s a patience game. .salazar
