Winter is here, and NUGA Foundation is once again collecting new and gently used coats to help keep our youth warm this season. ❄️

In honor of Mr. Ike O’Bryant, we’re asking our community to come together and donate coats of all sizes — every contribution helps a child in need. ❤️

Join the NUGA Foundation and My Voice Counts for our annual Backpack Giveaway to help kids start the school year strong! Last year, we were able to help out over 200 kids!

🗓️ Date: Saturday, August 2nd
📍 Location: Cuney Homes Community Center - 3260 Truxillo St, Houston, TX 77004
⏰ Time: 1 PM - 4 PM

✨ Backpacks filled with school supplies

A special thank you to everyone who contributed to our very first shoe drive! Because of your generosity, we were able to donate an incredible 277 pounds of shoes in partnership with . It's truly heartwarming to know that someone in need will be receiving these shoes, and I’m so grateful to all of you for making this possible.

It's a blessing to be able to bless others, and I couldn't be more thankful for the support and kindness shown by our community. The success of this drive has inspired us to continue collecting more shoes in the future, with the goal of donating even more and helping those in need.

Thank you again for your amazing contributions and for helping us make a difference. We look forward to future opportunities to work together and spread even more kindness.

🧥Koats For Kids Drive In Honor Of Mr. Arthur "Ike" O'Bryant 🧥

On Behalf Of The O'Bryant Family And N.U.G.A. Foundation, We Would LikeTo Say Thank You To Every Single Person Who Helped Us With Our "Koats For Kids" Drive.

A Vision That Started With Mr. Arthur OBryant In New Waverly, TX. His Main Goal Was That No Kid To Be Cold. He Didn't Only Want To Look Out For His Children, But All Of The Youth. So For His Children To Carry Out His Dream Is A Blessing.

We Were Able To Collect A Total Of 130 Coats For Kids Ranging From 0 To Teen Sizes. Coats Were Distrubuted In New Waverly And Other Areas Across The Houston Area, Like 3rd Ward.

This Is The N.U.G.A. Foundation's 1st Annual And We Will Continue To Carry The Torch To Make Sure That Our Youth Stay Warm. All Of Our Hearts Are So Full.

Special Appreciation To Smile Avenue Family Dentistry Of Cypress, Coach T Elite Program, And Everyone Who Donated, Assisted, Or Spread The Word.

This year, we are carrying the torch for the KOATS FOR KIDS drive in honor of Mr. Ike O'Bryant. He did this yearly because he loved to help out his community. So, let's continue to keep our youth warm by donating your new and gently used coats. No size restrictions. It can go for babies or teens. We appreciate your support for the companies that have been helping us collect coats these last two months. If you also know a child in need of a coat, please let us know. Everything counts and protects these babies.
