Here's What It Means! 🌟🐝 If you've noticed your bees moving rhythmically back and forth outside the hive, they're "washboarding"! This fascinating behavior is still a bit of a mystery, but here are a few things to know: 1. Hygiene Hypothesis: Some believe bees are cleaning and polishing the hive entrance, preparing it for new arrivals. 2. Communication: It might be a way for bees to communicate with each other or mark their territory. 3. Young Bees: Typically, younger worker bees are the ones you’ll see washboarding as they transition from inside duties to foraging. While the exact reason is still debated, washboarding is a normal and intriguing part of bee behavior. Next time you spot it, take a moment to appreciate their intricate social lives! 🌼
