The importance and the richness of African weddings cannot however not be overestimated.The marriage between a man and a woman is a special celebration of the natural continuity of life in every part of Africa. In all the communities all over Africa, and especially in the Nigerian culture, the coming together of both the bride and groom's families is very important to the sustenance of the new union.
