Canine Leadership Program

An innovative program aimed at finding homes for abandoned Fort Bend County dogs while teaching important life skills to youth in the Detention Center and the Juvenile Leadership Academy. The youth in the program gain valuable skills - responsibility, patience, compassion and perseverance - that will help them become productive members of the community. Our girl Saffron’s transformation has been incredible to watch! With patience, consistency, and a whole lot of heart our youth have helped her grow into a dog who listens closely and trusts her handler. Sing her progress reminds them that girl takes time and they’re capable of amazing things too.💙🐶
