Special attention is paid to mom’s pelvic alignment, utilizing the Webster Technique. The Webster Technique evaluates and balances the ligaments of the pelvis to allow proper nutation and

Chiropractic Care for Children
Chiropractic care at Better Health Center begins at conception. When the mother is functioning at near potential, the environment of the developing child within is at its optimal. Through the nine months of development, mom is evaluated twice a month, and adjusted as indicated to reduce subluxations that interfere with life’s expression through the nerves of the body. Within days after birth, the newborn receives a comprehensive examination, including recommendations for in office or home care, if indicated. The exam includes a cranial evaluation for proper cranial molding, including TMJ alignment and function – significant factors in chronic headaches in adults, and nursing difficulties in newborns. The newborn chiropractic adjustment consists of 6-8 grams of pressure specifically directed to correct spinal alignment abnormalities (subluxations). This amount of pressure can be comfortably applied to your eyeball with the eyelid closed. CHIROPRACTIC CARE FOR CHILDREN
Pediatric chiropractors are well-trained in evaluation and treatment of all stages of childhood development through adulthood. Each stage of development has specific commonalities, treatment needs, and delivery style that are more appropriate. Pediatric patients are not just little adults, and should not be treated as such.
