Flash Gordon Parks

Join us at The Reading Room HTX for a listening session with ethnomusicologist, DJ, and cultural documentarian, Jason "Flash Gordon Parks" Woods, as we explore Houston's sonic history through vinyl. Attendees will receive a copy of a first limited-edition zine published by The Reading Room Press, which catalogs a selection of 50 records from the late 1950s to the 2020s, on view in the library through November 30.
