Remember: Always be polite and courteous when contacting legislative offices. Professionalism is paramount. Here’s what you can say when you call:

“Hello, my name is (name) and I’m calling about HB 1535. Please ensure that this legislation has a hearing and is voted on quickly. We cannot leave Texas patients behind this session.”

It is imperative that you CALL, however if you absolutely are unable to do so, then Email the Lt. Gov. and Texas Senate to quickly advance medical cannabis expansion!

Yesterday, Senators Cory Booker, Ron Wyden, and Majority Leader Chuck Schumer released a joint statement declaring their intention to release a draft discussion bill outlining how best to legalize and regulate cannabis and cannabis commerce in a post-prohibition America.
