I am teaching this simple piece tonight for The Ballard House Residents!
All of the paintings that I teach are simple, colorful, and can be done using minimal supplies. An easy rule of thumb is that if I can do it in 20 minutes, I can teach a room of beginners in 2 hours or less. If it takes me over 30 minutes, forget it, we would be there all night.
Keep that in mind if you’ve never picked up a paintbrush before. Just keep practicing and playing with brushes, colors, and different mediums!

Art has a way of breaking down barriers, focusing our energies, providing us with large doses of grace, bringing us together, and healing our hearts.
