Over the course of my producing journey, I've come to realize that simple beats sell the most. You see, the day I realized this is the day production got a little interesting, because when envisioning the minds🧠 of artists vocalizing 🎙️ to beats. We want it flow with the song and be able to hear ourselves vibe to the beat. In addition, the simpler the beat the more space for Bass to sound loud 🔊 and reverb to take over and the better it gets. I played with these methods most times.

The problem, in my opinion, is that when a beat gets too simple it's just not pushing the artist to be as creative as they should be. When an artist inputs effort on a beat that has balance (an even mixture of simplicity and complexity) within its tracks, they feel a lot better with their creation, because the beat challenges them to go above the norm and distinguishes you from the rest.
