Last Monday it was truly an enriching day in the company of stalwarts of Indian Classical Music — Pt. Tenjendra Narayan da, Vidushi Mita di, Pt. Santosh ji, Pt. Partho da, Vidushi Esha di and many others— listening to some incredibly talented young instrumentalists (ages 12–16) at the Sangeet Piyasi’s Natu Ganguly Music Competition 2025.

All credit and heartfelt thanks to Pt. Samar Saha ji and his entire crew for organizing this remarkable 4-days of music competition, encompassing Tabla, Vocal, Dance, and Instrumental categories. Truly an inspiring effort to nurture the next generation of artists!

A few glimpses from my recent concerts in Seattle!
Feeling so happy and proud of my student Toa Ghatak, who not only accompanied me beautifully but also gave a solo performance. She plays Hindustani Classical Music on the Cello – something very rare and special. Wishing her continued success on her musical journey! 🎶💖

Also felt truly grateful to reconnect and share musical ideas with Richard Russell bhai, a dedicated disciple of Ustad Ali Akbar Khan sahab. It was wonderful to present some rich musical traditions of the Maihar Gharana together after such a long time 🎻🎻🎻
