Thank you for highlighting the life of one of my biggest influences, my aunt Barbara Jacket. Besides taking the 1992 United States Women’s National Track team to the Olympics and winning 4 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze medals; besides insuring that PV’s track team was the top in SWAC fruiting that time, she was and still is my “Aint Bobby”, and has led a hell of example for me and my family. One of Port Arthur’s finest. She is black history.
