🌟 Congratulations to Annie Nguyen! 🌟
Annie was selected as one of the winners of our writing contest, "Who Is Your Favorite Teacher?" In her essay, Annie shared why Mr. Rahman, her Robotics teacher, is the best teacher. She described how Mr. Rahman makes learning exciting, encourages students to think creatively, and inspires them to solve problems through hands-on robotics projects.
At Van Houston Academy, we understand the importance of introducing students to Computer Science and STEM at an early age. Through engaging Robotics classes in elementary and middle school, students develop critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while exploring exciting fields such as:

This year, our students' hard work and dedication led them all the way to the FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge and FIRST® LEGO® League Explore International Open, an event that brought together nearly 200 teams from around the world to celebrate and showcase their STEM skills. Van Houston Academy was proud to be one of only three schools representing Texas on the international stage.
Our students did an incredible job competing, collaborating, and presenting alongside teams from across the globe. Their success demonstrates what is possible when students are given opportunities to explore STEM from an early age. This achievement has set a new standard for excellence and marks the beginning of many more great years to come for our Robotics program.
Thank you, Mr. Rahman, for inspiring the next generation of innovators, engineers, and problem-solvers. And congratulations again to Annie for her outstanding essay and well-deserved recognition! 🎉

As we reflect on this special milestone, we are proud to share highlights from our Graduation Ceremony. This remarkable class has demonstrated dedication, perseverance, and excellence throughout their academic journey.
The Class of 2026 achieved outstanding success, including acceptances to top universities and impressive scholarship awards. Among their accomplishments are students accepted to Rice University with full-ride scholarships, Johns Hopkins University, Columbia University, and many other prestigious institutions.
Thank you to our families, teachers, staff, and community members for supporting these graduates every step of the way. We are excited to see all that they will accomplish in the years ahead.
