University of Houston College of Architecture and Design Student Maria Mora Sanchez recently won a Red Dot Design Award for Concept. Loom, her concept, is an expandable, adaptable, wearable and flexible 3D printed dress that adapts to all body types and body changes. It combines textiles and additive manufacturing by applying materials and auxetic structures that consider function and the human body.
