MaryAnn will speak about the importance of nurturing ourselves. We are all adversely affected by stress but stress has an even greater negative impact on the ADHD brain. MaryAnn will teach us ways to decrease stress and increase our sense of calm for better brain function.

Please join us next week, Tuesday, April 16th at 7pm, for our next ADHD support group meeting. Kathryn Shaffer, LAC, will be our presenter. Kathryn is a Licensed Associate Counselor with Arisa Health here in Northwest Arkansas. In addition to being a therapist, she’s a mom to a 10 year old son diagnosed with ADHD. She will share what she has learned about how to better navigate a child’s emotional swings.

ADDA-SR Northwest Arkansas ADHD Support Group will meet January 16th, 7pm! Lynn Reding will be our presenter to kick off the new year! Lynn is a Professional Organizer, owner of Organizing With Lynn and author of “2 Minutes or Less” which is a simple book to help re-train the brain to stop procrastinating our easiest tasks. Lynn will talk about Organizing Solutions for People with ADHD.
