10,000 STEPS A DAY!
Is harder than you might think. For most people, you have to be intentional about it.
When I was an elementary teacher, on my feet with children, 10,000 steps a day was much easier.
I typically take a daily, neighborhood walk these days. I had puttered around the house just a little before getting started. My intentional walk was .78 miles, with a total of 2,123 steps for today.
Only 7,900 more steps to go!!!
So, other than challenging yourself to 10,000 steps in a day, what’s the point?
Walking:
✔️ Increases your heart health
✔️ Keeps your body limber
✔️ Burns some extra calories
✔️ Improves your mental outlook
